Comprehensive Articulation Agreement

North Carolina Community College System and the University of North Carolina System

The North Carolina Community College System and the University of North Carolina System have developed a Comprehensive Articulation Agreement which greatly improves the transfer process between community colleges and the campuses of the University. A number of North Carolina's Independent Colleges and Universities have signed similar agreements.

Students who plan to transfer should discuss requirements with academic advisers at their community colleges at the beginning of their studies. Transfer performance data can help you choose the community college and public university that  will meet your needs.

Transfer agreements do not guarantee admission. Students should contact admissions offices at the four-year institutions to which they plan to apply for specific admission requirements.
